Japan to build floating city that adapts to climate change

The city will be built in the shape of a tsunami ring and residents will receive advanced medical services, such as robotic surgery.
Japanese startup N-ARK has announced plans to create a huge floating city in the ocean called Dogen City. This is reported by the Robb Report.
The city will be built in the shape of a tsunami ring and residents will receive advanced medical services as well as robotic surgery.
In addition, this city is completely self-sufficient through food production and renewable energy sources. Even conditions will be created for launching spacecraft.
The 390-acre "disease-free" area is said to accommodate 40,000 people at a time, including 10,000 permanent residents and 30,000 tourists.
Dogen City will consist of three levels, each with a specific purpose.
The first layer is a residential, self-sustaining sea village where residential buildings are built. The next layer will be an underwater data center, which is naturally cooled by the ocean to reduce energy consumption. The last layer, inspired by SpaceX, serves as a launch pad for rockets as well as a landing pad.
Functional ingredients and food crops are claimed to be locally grown using seawater with innovative technology as a source of plant nutrients. The project will allow to produce about 7 thousand tons of food per year and produce 22 million 265 thousand kW of electricity.
At the moment, there is no word on exactly where Dogen City will be located or when it will be completed.
