Kazakhstan Sets Record in Oil Production
World
Kazakhstan has set a historic record in oil production. The average daily oil production in Kazakhstan reached 278.4 thousand tons. This was reported by the Kazinform agency.
According to the operational data from the Fuel and Energy Complex's Situation Analysis Center (SAK TEP), on January 26, 2025, Kazakhstan recorded a historic daily oil production record of 278.4 thousand tons, which is 10.5% more compared to the same date in 2024 (251.9 thousand tons).
SAK TEP noted that this achievement was made possible due to the completion of key stages of the future expansion project of the "Tengizchevroil" company and the commissioning of the third-generation plant at the Tengiz field.
It is worth mentioning that the "Tengizchevroil" company began oil production at its new third-generation plant at the Tengiz field. In November 2024, Energy Minister Almasadam Satkaliyev announced that Kazakhstan would produce 100 million tons of oil annually starting from 2026.
