Uzbekistan national team and Manchester City defender Abdukodir Khusanov continues to make history in the English Premier League. The 22-year-old footballer has once again been shortlisted for the "City" Player of the Month award for April.

Khusanov Nominated for Player of the Month Again
In the battle for the fans' affection, the Uzbek defender will compete against star Portuguese midfielder Bernardo Silva and young defender Nico O'Reilly. Despite the high-profile competition, experts consider Khusanov's chances of success to be very high, as the player demonstrates phenomenal consistency. In April, Abdukodir played four matches for Guardiola's side, earning a consistently high rating of seven points in each appearance.

This nomination is far from the first for the player. Khusanov has already been named Player of the Month three times this season, including a victory in the March vote. Gradually becoming a key link in Manchester City's defense, the Uzbek has participated in 18 EPL matches this season, and his total appearances for the club have surpassed the 40-game mark.

The defender's rapid progress is also reflected in his market value. According to Transfermarkt, Khusanov's price has reached 35 million euros. The winner of the April nomination will be determined shortly through an open vote on the official City website. Should Khusanov claim the award once more, it will stand as a unique achievement for Central Asian football within one of the world's strongest clubs.
