Memorial to Officer Khosilbek Eshnazarov Unveiled in Tashkent

A memorial complex dedicated to Khosilbek Eshnazarov, an officer who heroically died in the line of duty, has been unveiled at the Main Directorate of Internal Affairs in Tashkent.

The ceremony was attended by the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan, representatives of the public, Eshnazarov’s colleagues, and members of his family. During the event, a memorial plaque bearing the names of officers who lost their lives while performing their duties was presented. Participants laid wreaths and paid tribute to the fallen.

Officials emphasized that Khosilbek Eshnazarov’s dedication and courage serve as an example for law enforcement officers. One of his colleagues noted that he stopped a criminal at the cost of his own life, preventing potentially more tragic consequences.

According to a presidential decree, Junior Sergeant Khosilbek Eshnazarov was posthumously awarded the “Jasorat” (Courage) medal. The award was presented to his father by the Minister of Internal Affairs.

The state has also guaranteed social support for the officer’s family. They have been provided with a three-room apartment, free access to medical services in departmental facilities, and assistance for the higher education of his daughter and two sons.

In addition, a monument to the traffic patrol service inspector Khosilbek Eshnazarov will be installed at School No. 62 in Guzar district of Kashkadarya region as a symbol of loyalty to the Motherland and duty.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 118 officers of Uzbekistan’s internal affairs bodies have died in the line of duty since the country gained independence. The name of Khosilbek Eshnazarov now joins the ranks of those heroes.
