Uzbekistan’s national football team will play its 2026 FIFA World Cup group-stage matches in Mexico and the United States. According to the official schedule released by FIFA, the team will compete in Mexico City, Houston, and Atlanta.
Uzbekistan’s first Group K match is scheduled for June 18 at 8:00 Tashkent time against Colombia in Mexico City. The second game will take place on June 23 at 23:00 in Houston against Portugal. The final group match is set for June 28 at 5:30 in Atlanta, where Uzbekistan will face the winner of the intercontinental playoff involving New Caledonia, Jamaica, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
A total of 42 teams have already qualified for the tournament, while six more will secure their spots in playoff matches in March 2026. The World Cup will be held from June 11 to July 19 and will feature an expanded playoff stage, with 32 teams advancing — including third-place finishers in each group.
