More than half of Threads subscribers have left the social network
Meta head Mark Zuckerberg said his new social media platform Threads has lost more than half of its users. It is reported by Reuters.

The app, considered a rival to the social network Twitter, attracted more than 100 million users within five days of its launch earlier this month. But Zuckerberg acknowledged that those numbers are down now.

"If you have more than 100 million people registered, it would be great if all or even half of them stayed. We are not at that level yet," he said.

Zuckerberg described the situation as "normal" and said he expects things to improve with the addition of new features to the app.

It has previously been criticized due to the limitations of Threads features, such as specifying what posts are displayed and what content is possible.

Chris Cox, Meta's CEO of Products, says he's working on adding more "hold hooks" to the app to get people back on the platform.

His emphasis is that people who are on the Instagram app see important threads. Because the two platforms are closely related. To sign up for Threads, users must have an Instagram account.
