From February 13 to 15, the annual Munich Security Conference will gather over 50 heads of state and nearly 100 ministers to discuss critical international issues amid heightened tensions between Europe and the United States.
The Munich Security Conference begins on Friday, February 13, in Germany. Over three days, more than 50 heads of state and nearly 100 ministers will participate in discussions on global security and cooperation.
The United States will be represented by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, several dozen congress members, Special Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff, and Jared Kushner, the president’s son-in-law. China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi, along with representatives from India, Brazil, Switzerland, and Austria, are also expected to attend.
According to German media, separate meetings are planned, including between German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, French President Emmanuel Macron, and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
The conference takes place amid rising transatlantic tensions, making discussions on security and international cooperation especially urgent.
