The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) on Friday carried out searches at locations connected to Andriy Yermak, chief of staff to President Volodymyr Zelensky. The investigative actions are part of a large-scale corruption probe involving the state-owned nuclear monopoly Energoatom.

NABU stated on Telegram that the searches are being conducted within the framework of the investigation, without specifying Yermak’s procedural status.

Yermak confirmed the searches, noting that he is fully cooperating with investigators. “Today, NABU and SAPO are indeed conducting procedural actions at my home. Investigators are facing no obstacles,” he wrote in Telegram. He added that full access was granted and that his lawyers are present on site.

NABU and the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) have been investigating corruption within Energoatom for several weeks. Eight suspects have already been charged, making it one of the most significant corruption cases since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022.
