The country has announced large-scale initiatives aimed at increasing employment and reducing poverty, which are planned to be implemented by 2025.

Plans have been unveiled to create 5.2 million jobs and lift 1.5 million people out of poverty. For the first time, 60 districts and cities will receive the status of "free from poverty and unemployment".

Key directions:

Small business development: 120 trillion soums will be allocated to support entrepreneurial projects, which will provide employment for 1.5 million people and involve another 2 million citizens in business.

Energy solutions: Solar power plants with a total capacity of 107 megawatts will appear in complex mahallas, which will create jobs for low-income families.

Environmental projects: 123 districts will start planting forests and medicinal plants on 20 thousand hectares of land. Program participants will receive subsidies for each planted plot of land.

Tourism and digitalization: Guest houses and food outlets will be opened in tourist areas, and e — commerce centers will be opened at post offices for the employment of low-income citizens.

Special attention is paid to remote regions: In difficult villages, the Association of Mahallas will support initiatives to develop entrepreneurship, reduce dependency attitudes and train the working-age population.

The year 2025 has been declared crucial in the fight against poverty. To implement the initiatives, an electronic platform will be introduced that allows you to track the completion of tasks and jobs created.
