The American technology company Nvidia became the world's first company whose market capitalization exceeded $4 trillion. This historic achievement came after shares rose by 2.8% to $164.42 per paper immediately after the opening of trading in New York.
Nvidia continues to confidently gain weight amid a global boom in artificial intelligence. In just the last year and a half, the company has traveled from 2 to 4 trillion dollars - first crossing the $2 trillion threshold in February 2024, and then $3 trillion in June 2025.
In the top of the world's largest companies, Nvidia surpassed Microsoft (market value $3.8 trillion) and Apple ($3.1 trillion) to take first place.
