The 43rd General Assembly of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) took place in Bangkok, as reported by the press service of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan.

It is noted that initially the current President of the OCA, Rajah Randhir Singh, congratulated all delegates and briefed them on the agenda. The assembly began with an address by International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach to the OCA family.

Following this, officials who have made significant contributions to the development of the Olympic movement on our continent for many years were awarded the highest OCA honor - the Order "For Outstanding Merits".

One of these awards was solemnly presented to the Secretary-General of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, Oybek Kasimov. Oybek Omilovich received the award from Rajah Randhir Singh.

As part of the event, the host country for the upcoming major multi-sport competitions presented a preparation overview for the important events. Among these, the Uzbek side informed all guests and participants of the current event about the upcoming preparations for the Tashkent 2025 Asian Youth Games.
