Polish Foreign Minister: Ukraine will find itself in a difficult position if Trump returns
World
If Donald Trump becomes US President and stops providing aid to Ukraine, Europe will have to make a difficult decision: to increase the allocation of funds to help Kiev or let it fall into the hands of Russia, Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski has warned.
In an interview with TVP Info, Sikorski said that no one will rebuild Ukraine until it wins the conflict. He emphasised the critical situation in Ukraine due to the shortage of ammunition and the difference in striking power between the Russian and Ukrainian armies.
The Polish foreign minister also spoke out about the pressure Donald Trump is exerting on his supporters and Congress and called on the opposition, which has good relations with Trump, to let him know that his actions play into Putin's hands.
Sikorski warned of a possible blocking of aid to Ukraine if Trump wins the election and faces a dramatic challenge for Poland and Europe. He emphasised the need to double aid to Kiev to replace US funds and expressed confidence that Ukraine must not lose this war.
