President reprimands Transport Minister Ilkhom Mahkamov and other officials
It was noted that despite the fact that this system has 3 ministries and departments, 3 inspections, 5 companies, and there are deputy governors responsible for construction and housing and communal services in the regions, including the capital and Tashkent region, "this complex causes the greatest dissatisfaction among our people," the report says.

The head of state listed shortcomings in updating construction norms, reducing the cost of drinking water and losses in the network, increasing regional flights, reducing traffic jams in Tashkent and improving public transport, noting the "unsatisfactory" work of officials in this area. He also instructed the construction industry to introduce modern standards and update building codes.

In this connection, the president reprimanded and gave final warnings to Transport Minister Ilkhom Mahkamov, his first deputy Mamanbiy Omarov, Deputy Head of the Interior Ministry's Public Security Department - Head of the Road Traffic Safety Service Olim Saidov, and Toshshahartranshizmat JSC Chairman Anvar Dzhuraev.
