On January 29 in Rome, at the invitation of the Italian side, talks were held between Bekzod Mamatkulov, Chairman of the Founders Board of BMB HOLDING, and his close partner, Paolo Berlusconi, President of BERLUSCONI FINANZIARIA.
For reference, BERLUSCONI FINANZIARIA is currently engaged in the construction of large industrial facilities specializing in the production of hydrogen and ammonia in Italy and a number of other European countries.
In addition, the company has been successfully operating for more than 15 years in the field of constructing floating solar power plants.
At the same time, BERLUSCONI FINANZIARIA is implementing a large-scale project for the construction of a new major airport with a total investment value of 1.5 billion euro, clearly demonstrating the company’s extensive experience in the industrial and infrastructure sectors.
During the talks, the parties discussed the establishment of comprehensive cooperation aimed at implementing joint investment projects in various sectors of the national economy, attracting foreign investment on a large scale, and introducing modern European technologies and advanced practices.
In particular, based on the agreements reached with the Italian partner, the parties agreed to accelerate the practical implementation of an investment project aimed at generating electric power in Uzbekistan through the processing of municipal and hazardous waste.
Following the talks, which were held in a constructive and friendly atmosphere, Bekzod Mamatkulov invited Mr. Paolo Berlusconi to pay an official visit to Uzbekistan in the near future in order to further expand mutually beneficial cooperation, implement projects in the mining sector, develop mineral resources, introduce energy-efficient technologies, and deepen trade and economic partnership.
