Putin–Trump Meeting Possible in Beijing, Says Kremlin

Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said that a meeting between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump in Beijing is possible if the former American leader arrives in China, TASS reports.
According to The Times, a trilateral summit between Putin, Trump, and Chinese President Xi Jinping may take place in Beijing following the conclusion of recent trade deals between Washington and Beijing. The publication suggests that these deals have eased Trump’s rhetoric towards China, creating conditions for dialogue.
German political analyst Alexander Rahr believes that if the meeting occurs, Washington may reconsider its sanctions and ultimatums against both Moscow and Beijing.
The Kremlin emphasized that the agenda for such a potential summit would depend on actual circumstances and mutual agreement among the parties involved.
