A grand celebration was also held in honor of Ramadan, with London Mayor Sadiq Khan leading the event. He recalled how, as a child, he only saw Christmas lights and expressed joy that Ramadan is now being celebrated just as widely. Rahima Aziz emphasized that this initiative symbolizes the integration of British Muslims into society.

This year, the installation includes an interactive display in Leicester Square and a halal-friendly iftar trail. Additionally, Westminster City Council organized a lantern parade.

Ramadan Lights as a Symbol of Hope Against Hatred. Amid a rise in Islamophobic attacks in the UK, this initiative promotes tolerance and unity. Sadiq Khan stated: "We are not only standing against hate but also spreading a light of hope."

The Ramadan lights will remain illuminated until March 30, after which the "Happy Ramadan" sign will transform into "Happy Eid". This initiative once again highlights Ramadan as a celebration of religious and cultural unity.
