The parties noted that this meeting is held within the framework of previously reached agreements on state borders between the heads of state of the three countries – President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.

During the meeting, the completion of the process of delimiting the state border between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan and the exchange of ratification letters for the "Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan State Border Agreement" was discussed.

It was also noted that in the state border agreement between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, dated December 4, 2024, the completion of the process of defining the remaining sections of the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border is of significant importance.

A noteworthy aspect of the meeting was that it took place at the point where the state borders of the three countries intersect – in Batken region of the Kyrgyz Republic, Fergana region of Uzbekistan, and Sughd region of Tajikistan.

As a result of the meeting, government leaders expressed confidence that today's meeting will determine the future of the region for decades to come, in the interests of the well-being of the peoples and countries.
