Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, has come under heavy Israeli airstrikes again. The IDF carried out a series of strikes on the densely populated districts of Zukak-el-Blat and Basta, causing a multi-story residential building in central Beirut to collapse completely.

According to local medical services and the Lebanese Ministry of Health, 11 civilians have been confirmed dead, and 9 others were injured and hospitalized.

Rescue teams, firefighters, and volunteers are continuing to clear the debris in search of survivors. The area is heavily smoke-filled, and streets are blocked by damaged vehicles and emergency equipment. Authorities warn that the number of casualties may rise.

The attack is part of an escalating conflict across Lebanon. International humanitarian organizations have condemned the strikes on civilian infrastructure, highlighting the severe toll on civilians. Israeli military command claims precision strikes on military targets, but the destruction in residential areas shows the high cost for non-combatants.

The situation remains tense, and residents of central Beirut continue to leave their homes fearing further strikes.
