The Tagansky Court of Moscow fined Google 3.8 million rubles for refusing to remove prohibited content, RAPSI reported, citing the press service of Moscow courts.

"The court found LLC 'Google' guilty of committing an administrative offense and imposed an administrative fine of 3.8 million rubles," the court statement reads.

The protocol against the corporation was drawn up under Part 2 of Article 13.41 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (failure to delete information or web pages by the owner of an information resource on the Internet when required to do so under Russian Federation legislation).

Google is accused of violating procedures for restricting access to information that must be limited in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation on information.
