Uzbekistan’s national boxing team has a new captain. Following Bahodir Jalolov’s retirement from amateur boxing, two-time Olympic and world champion Hasanboy Dusmatov has been appointed as the new leader of the team.
During a meeting attended by representatives of the Uzbekistan Boxing Federation, coaches, and boxers, the team’s participation in the upcoming Asian Championship and their preparation for the Paris Olympics were discussed. Each coach presented their reports, and new goals were set for the team.
