The American-Uzbek Business and Investment Council officially launched its activities in Washington—a strategic platform designed to translate the political trust of both nations' presidents into tangible business assets.

During the visit, Saida Mirziyoyeva held a productive meeting with Ambassador Sergio Gor, co-chair of the newly established Council. The parties discussed specific mechanisms for strengthening ties between entrepreneurs of the two countries. The meeting culminated in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding, which establishes the legal and practical foundation for future joint investments.

The Council will serve as a permanent body to support business ambitions and protect investor interests. Participants emphasized that the launch of this structure was made possible by the strong political will and high level of trust between the leaders of Uzbekistan and the United States.
