It was noted that the residents of Saikhunabad district strive to live well, earn money and educate their children, but this is hindered by the difficult economic situation in the district.
It is reported that while huge funds have been allocated for entrepreneurship, employment and poverty alleviation, the question remains whether these opportunities are available to the 83,000 residents living in 19 neighbourhoods in Saikhunabad district.
Therefore, it was emphasised that today's meeting will bring significant changes not only for Saikhunabad district, but also for the whole of Uzbekistan in improving the welfare of the population through the development of homesteads and households.
The President also noted that there are 2,400 unemployed in the district, the poverty rate is 14%, local budget revenues reach 27 billion sums, while expenditures are 67 billion sums.
"In short, there is no development of entrepreneurship in Saykhunabad, the breath of New Uzbekistan is not felt," the head of state emphasised.
