The head of Uzbekistan noted that the first state visit of the President of Mongolia to Uzbekistan in the history of bilateral relations has become a testament to the mutual desire to strengthen Uzbek-Mongolian friendship and develop multifaceted cooperation.

"Mongolia is our traditional and reliable partner in the Asian region. Uzbek-Mongolian relations are built on the principles of friendship, mutual respect, and support, and are not influenced by current trends," said the leader of Uzbekistan.

As part of the newly established expert group, a draft Agreement on Preferential Trade and lists of goods for delivery will be prepared, along with proposals for simplifying mutual market access.

Specific areas for industrial cooperation in sectors where our countries can effectively complement each other have also been identified.

An important topic of the negotiations was the development of efficient transport corridors and the creation of favourable conditions for freight carriers.

Agreements were reached on active exchanges in the fields of culture, arts, education, tourism, youth, and sports.

The countries will also work together to promote traditional martial arts, increase tourist exchanges under the existing visa-free regime, and cooperate on climate change issues.

To implement these agreements, the governments of the two countries have been tasked with preparing a comprehensive "roadmap" and ensuring its timely execution.

"The first state visit of the President of Mongolia to Uzbekistan has rightly become historic and marked the beginning of a new stage of multifaceted cooperation. I am confident that in the very near future we will achieve the first practical results of our extensive joint efforts," concluded the President of Uzbekistan.
