President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited Nam Motor Servis enterprise in Namangan district.
The investment project, the first stage of which was launched in 2021, has been implemented on an area of more than four hectares. Modern technologies from China have been introduced here. As a result, it is possible to produce ten thousand electric motors and two thousand water pumps per year. One hundred people are provided with jobs.
The company's products comply with energy efficiency class "IE2" and international standards. They are supplied to domestic mining and metallurgical plants, water management organisations, and exported to Central Asian countries.
Another important feature is the achieved level of localisation - 60 and 100 percent in electric motors and water pumps respectively.
The second stage of the project will be launched in May, and the final stage by the end of the year. As a result, the range of manufactured products will increase and the geography of co-operation will expand. Another 160 new jobs will be created.
In particular, there will be created capacities for the production of 2.2 thousand tonnes of enamelled wire, 6 thousand electric motors and 4 thousand large-size water pumps. This means an additional volume of industrial goods worth 500 billion sums.
Guidance has been given on expanding cooperation with other industries and enterprises, as well as on further increasing the level of localisation.
