The President of Uzbekistan has issued a new decree aimed at improving state policy in poverty reduction and employment. The decree outlines the main areas of activity for the Ministry of Poverty Reduction and Employment within the "From Poverty to Prosperity" program.

State policy on poverty reduction to be enhanced
The ministry will focus on analyzing the labor market, identifying unemployed individuals more effectively, and developing employment programs. Additionally, it will coordinate the activities of regional authorities to ensure job creation and poverty reduction.

By 2025, industrialized agricultural plantations and vineyards will be established in 50 districts, with the initiative expanding to the remaining districts in 2026. These plantations will focus on producing high-value, export-oriented agricultural products.

This decree is seen as a significant step toward improving living standards by boosting agriculture and creating more job opportunities across the country.
