TBC Group has become the owner of 100 percent of the Uzbek online payment platform Payme, — this is stated in a statement published by the Georgian company on the London Stock Exchange. So far, since April 2019, TBC Group has owned a 51 percent controlling stake in Payme.

As a result of the latest transaction, it also bought 49 percent of the shares owned by the founders of the company, for which it will pay $55.7 million in cash over the next ten days, thus the market value of Payme was estimated at $113.6 million, the report says.

As it became known from the announcement, the right to repurchase the remaining share of the company was included in the document on the repurchase of 51 percent of the company's share between the TBC group and the founders of Payme. According to the latest data, 49 percent of Payme belonged to 5 individuals.
