This atomic battery, which will make charging mobile phones unnecessary, promises to be completely safe and represents a revolutionary advance in battery technology.

The Chinese have invented a nuclear battery for smartphones
Betavolt has developed a new battery, smaller than a coin, that uses Nickel-63 and diamond semiconductors. With its help, electronics won't run out of power for about 50 years: drones will be able to hang in the air indefinitely, smartphones won't need to be charged, etc.

One of the amazing features of nuclear batteries is their absolute safety, according to the company. Neither high temperatures nor low temperatures will be able to cause leaks or fires, and they will simply disintegrate at the end of their life.

Betavolt says the battery is already undergoing full-scale testing and is being prepared for mass production.
