The General Plan of Tashkent Until 2045 Has Been Approved

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the general plan for the development of Tashkent city up to 2045. This plan aims at comprehensive urban development, infrastructure improvement, and creating more comfortable living conditions.

The General Plan of Tashkent Until 2045 Has Been Approved
Main Objectives:
Streamlining and improving the quality of construction processes.

Developing the city’s engineering and transport infrastructure.

Preserving green areas and cultural heritage.

Planning the city’s socio-economic strategy.

Zoning of Territories:
Conservation Zones: Cultural heritage sites and green areas remain unchanged.

Reconstruction Zones: Additional construction is allowed based on master plans.

Renovation Zones: Old buildings will be replaced with new constructions.

Execution Control:
Quarterly reports from the Tashkent mayor will be reviewed by the Cabinet of Ministers.

The Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services will oversee state architectural control.

"New Tashkent" Concept:
A new city designed for 500,000 residents will be built in the eastern part of Tashkent, between the Chirchik and Karasu rivers.

The general plan aims not only to meet the current needs of the capital but also to transform it into a modern metropolis that aligns with future demands. This project has been developed step by step, incorporating international expertise and technologies.
