President Shavkat Mirziyoyev toured the IT park in Fergana.
The complex was built in accordance with the instructions announced by the head of state during his visit in August 2024. It was constructed using 150 billion soums of state budget funds and can accommodate up to 200 people at a time. It provides opportunities for annual training and involvement in practical projects for over 3,000 young people, as well as the provision of IT services.
The center offers a modern coworking environment for freelancers and programmers, and fully equipped offices for resident companies. Education, production, and service delivery are integrated here. As noted, the created infrastructure expands self-employment opportunities for young people and helps them earn a stable income.
It was emphasized that in recent years, the volume of IT services in the Fergana region has quadrupled, with exports exceeding $23 million. Currently, the number of IT park residents in the region has reached 139. In 2025, IT service exports amounted to $22.7 million.
The new IT park plans to increase the number of residents to 200, create 700 new jobs, increase the volume of services, and reach $30 million in exports.
The complex is expected to become the site of an artificial intelligence technology hub and implement projects aimed at digitalizing management systems. Furthermore, plans are underway to launch modern educational courses in AI, programming, graphic design, computer literacy, and English. Venture capital financing, grants, and acceleration programs will be introduced for startups.
