Furthermore, two academic buildings and two dormitory buildings have undergone extensive renovations, doubling the student body. Construction of an indoor and outdoor sports complex is currently underway. To ensure a close connection between theory and practice, 12 specialized facilities have been created, including forensic testing ranges, special courtrooms for mock trials, interrogation and identification rooms equipped with a Gesell mirror, a cyber-testing range, and darknet and forensic laboratories. The Academy has implemented a two-tier system of higher education&mdash;undergraduate and graduate programs. A legal clinic and a dedicated online platform have been established to provide free legal assistance to the public. Students are involved in this work, developing practical skills under the guidance of experienced specialists. Furthermore, a Scientific and Educational Center for Combating Corruption has been established, which trains master&#39;s students and provides scientific and methodological support for the dissertation council. To combat cybercrime and other global threats, and to train qualified specialists in this field, the Digital Forensics Research Institute was established within the Academy last year, based on relevant presidential decrees. Notably, the state-of-the-art cyberlaboratory has conducted 439 complex digital investigations and examinations, resulting in the resolution of 189 cybercrimes. The Academy&#39;s project office is implementing more than 15 projects in collaboration with experts from the United States, Japan, Germany, South Korea, Russia, Slovenia, and Sweden. To provide the population and economic facilities with stable and uninterrupted thermal energy during the winter, a series of modern cogeneration plants, which simultaneously generate heat and electricity, have been commissioned in the capital.&nbsp; One of these key initiatives is a 100 megawatt facility built through a public-private partnership at the site of the 4th combined heat and power plant in Yunusabad district. The project, implemented jointly with the Chinese company CNTIC, is located on a 3.5-hectare site. It was financed through $65 million in foreign direct investment. The Head of state reviewed the center&#39;s operations. The cogeneration facility is equipped with 70 gas piston units from the British company Rolls-Royce. The heat supply infrastructure, from the boiler houses to the end consumers, has been reconstructed. The main heating pipelines have been upgraded, and the networks have been replaced with insulated pipes. This helps prevent energy losses at various stages. As a result of the center&#39;s commissioning, 876 million kilowatt-hours of electricity and 858 thousand giga calories of thermal energy will be produced annually. Furthermore, it is planned to save 35 million cubic meters of natural gas. A continuous heat supply will now be provided to 1,846 facilities in Yunusabad, Almazar, Shaykhantakhur, Mirzo-Ulugbek, and Yakkasaray districts of the capital. Of these, 1,400 consumers are residential buildings, with the remainder &ndash; social facilities. Moreover, 292 thousand apartments are expected to receive a stable electricity supply. With the launch of the project, the cost of thermal energy production will decrease by 40-45 percent. The volume of pollutant emissions into the atmosphere will be significantly reduced, and wastewater discharge will be eliminated. Here, the President reviewed the presentation on the ongoing work for preparations for the winter season, development of heating centers, modernization of Tashkent heat and electricity power station, proposals on enhancing the improvement services of the capital, as well as distribution of efforts and resources attracted in the case of extreme cold weather. There are 11,630 apartment buildings in the capital, managed by 358 management service companies. The Head of state focused on assessing the readiness of these companies for this season. &ndash; In urban environments, the activities of service management companies are directly linked to the daily lives of the population.
