The parties discussed current issues related to the further development and strengthening of Uzbek-Russian relations, a comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance, in the context of the practical implementation of high-level agreements.

Productive contacts at various levels were noted with satisfaction. Interparliamentary, business, and cultural exchanges are actively developing.

Trade turnover is growing steadily, having increased by 23 percent since the beginning of the year. Major cooperation projects in industry, energy, transport, and other priority sectors, including at the regional level, continue to be implemented.

The leaders of Uzbekistan and Russia also reviewed the schedule of upcoming bilateral and multilateral events.
