The President inspected the copper concentrate production process

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the copper concentrate filtration building constructed at the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Plant.
The production capacity of the building, part of Copper Processing Plant No. 3, is approximately 917,000 tons of copper concentrate per year. It is equipped with modern industrial press filters, pumping units, and slurry and water circulation systems. The equipment is manufactured in accordance with international standards and is characterized by high productivity and energy efficiency.
Currently, construction work is fully completed, three of the building's five press filters have been commissioned, and two more are undergoing commissioning.
The filtration building handles processes such as receiving copper concentrate after flotation, thickening and filtering the concentrate, separating and returning settled water to the process, and storing the finished copper concentrate or transferring it to the next processing stage.
Currently, approximately 130 employees work here.
The head of state inspected the production process and finished products, and also spoke with the workers.
A copper concentrate sampling ceremony was also held here, with the President's participation. The samples were placed in two containers, which were sent to the AMMC Museum and the State Geological Museum in Tashkent.
