The Sahara Desert was partially flooded for the first time in decades
Heavy rains have killed more than 20 people and damaged farmers ' crops. This is reported by The Independent.

The Moroccan government reported that in September, some parts of the country received record rainfall in two days.

As a result of flooding, blue lagoons were formed among the palm trees and dunes of the Sahara Desert. Even Lake Iriki, which had been dry for 50 years, was filled with water again.

The representative of the General Directorate of Meteorology of Morocco noted that in the last 30-50 years there has been no precipitation in such a short period.
