Today, February 18th, the Turkic Ski Cup - 2025 tournament took place at Uzbekistan's renowned Amirsoy ski resort. This sporting event went down in history as the first ski competition between the Turkic states.

The Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States, Kubanychbek Omuraliev, the Deputy Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States, Mirvohid Azimov, the Secretary General of the Turkish Skiers' Union, Orkhan Badalov, as well as representatives of the Uludağ, Shahdag, and Shymbulak ski resorts from Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan participated in this sporting event.

The competition was organized in three stages, where athletes aged 18 to 25, 26 to 45, and over 45 years competed. More than 50 skiers participated in the tournament and demonstrated their skills.

The competition, organized at the initiative of the Organization of Turkic States, not only intensified the rivalry between athletes but also contributed to strengthening the fraternal ties between the Turkic peoples. This tournament has also made a great contribution to the development of tourism in the region, especially to promoting the potential of ski tourism in Uzbekistan.

In the future, it is planned to hold this competition in a traditional way and organize it on a larger scale. The Turkic Ski Cup - 2025 became not only a sporting achievement, but also another vivid example of cooperation and friendship between the Turkic states.
