The UAE is attracting more and more tourists from Uzbekistan

Uzbeks are increasingly choosing the UAE for their holidays. In the first five months of 2025, tourist trips to the Emirates surged by nearly one-third compared to the same period last year.
National Statistics Committee, 71,400 Uzbek citizens traveled to the United Arab Emirates from January to May 2025 for various purposes. This marks an increase of 15,700 people — or 28.2% — compared to the same period in 2024.
The majority of trips were for tourism — 63,042 people. Others included visiting relatives (7,397), business trips (571), medical treatment (225), and education (117).
The growth is attributed to the UAE’s simplified visa regime, advanced tourist infrastructure, and an increase in flights between the two countries. Experts expect the numbers to rise even further by the end of the year.
