According to the publication, the list includes military facilities allegedly used for drug trafficking, such as military ports and airstrips, which Washington claims are part of illicit operations.

President Donald Trump has not yet made a final decision on authorizing the strikes, the sources said.

The White House accuses the Venezuelan government and President Nicolás Maduro of running a drug-trafficking organization aimed at “flooding the U.S. with narcotics.” Washington has also described Venezuela as a “center of terrorist activity.”

However, U.S. officials have provided no evidence to support these claims, while Maduro firmly denies the accusations, calling them a pretext for political pressure and possible military aggression against his country.
