Tribute paid to the blessed memory of Imam Bukhari

On March 19, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the newly rebuilt Imam Bukhari complex in the Payarik district of the Samarkand region.
At the very center of the complex is the mausoleum of our great ancestor.
The head of state visited the mausoleum. Surahs from the Quran and duas were recited.
"On the eve of the holy holiday of Ramadan Hayit, we once again pay tribute to the profound memory of our great compatriot, the Sultan of Muhaddith, Imam Bukhari. Bukhari is an outstanding figure who earned recognition throughout the Islamic world for his collection of hadith, the most authoritative source after the Holy Quran. We have every right to be proud that our sacred land gave the world such a renowned scholar." "Thanks to the dedicated work of our people, our dreams and aspirations have come true today. We have succeeded in constructing this unique pilgrimage complex to a standard befitting the internationally recognized stature of Imam Bukhari. I congratulate us all on this historic event," said the head of state.
