Applications for Umrah Licenses Open

Uzbekistan's Committee for Religious Affairs has announced the opening of applications for obtaining a license to organize Umrah pilgrimages. The process began on October 15.
To receive the license, several important documents must be submitted, including confirmation of a deposit of at least $1 million into the "Ziyorat" fund managed by the Committee. Additionally, a cooperation agreement with Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah must be provided.
Entrepreneurs are also required to submit documents confirming civil liability insurance and their ability to provide quality services for pilgrims. State fees and processing charges have been established for the license application review.
Applications will be accepted until October 28 during specified working hours. Eligible businesses are encouraged to submit their applications within this timeframe.
