US aircraft carrier arrives in South Korean port after Putin's visit to North Korea
"The USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) arrived at a naval port in the southeastern city of Busan on Saturday, the Navy said, in a show of force against evolving North Korean threats emboldened by the North's deepening military cooperation with Russia," the publication emphasized.

The aircraft carrier is accompanied by the American destroyers Halsey and Daniel Inouye. The U.S. warship has also arrived to conduct planned drills, in which the U.S., Japan, and South Korea will participate at the end of June.

All this is happening amid fears of further strengthening of cooperation between Pyongyang and Moscow following President Vladimir Putin's state visit to North Korea.

The Russian leader made a state visit to North Korea from June 18 to 19. Following the talks between President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, with delegations from both countries participating, Moscow and Pyongyang signed a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement, a Cooperation Agreement in Health, Medical Education and Science, as well as an Agreement on the Construction of a Road Bridge on the border of the two countries. After the negotiations, Putin stated that military and technical cooperation with North Korea is not excluded.
