Uzbek Cyclists Win 3 Gold and 1 Bronze Medal at the Asian Championship

Uzbek athletes have achieved outstanding results at the Asian Road Cycling Championship, currently taking place in Phitsanulok, Thailand. The Uzbekistan national team has won a total of 3 gold and 1 bronze medal, competing honorably in the junior (U-18, U-23) and senior categories.

Two of the gold medals were secured in individual races: Samira Ismoilova became the champion in the U-18 category, while Yanina Kuskova claimed victory in the senior category. Additionally, Uzbekistan’s athletes demonstrated their dominance in the mixed relay event, earning another gold medal.

In the U-23 individual time trial, Asal Rizayeva won a bronze medal.

This success of the Uzbekistan national team once again proves that cycling is rapidly developing in the country, and young athletes are highly competitive on the international stage. According to the National Olympic Committee, Uzbekistan’s cyclists will continue to compete in upcoming races and have the potential to increase their medal count.
