Uzbek Foreign Minister meets with vice-president of the Liberal Democratic Party of Japan

"It was my great pleasure to meet a close friend of Uzbekistan in Japan, Vice-President of Liberal Democratic Party, Chair of Friendship League with Uzbekistan in the Japanese Parliament H.E. Taro Aso. Undoubtedly, people-to-people diplomacy plays a pivotal role in bringing our nations closer. We remain very grateful to him personally and his team for the continuous facilitation of Uzbek-Japanese engagements in all areas," the Uzbek Foreign Minister wrote in his telegram channel.

It is expected that bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Japan will be further strengthened thanks to this visit.

It should be noted that this is Bakhtiyor Saidov's first visit to Japan.
