Uzbek Foreign Minister Receives Israeli Ambassador Following UAE Murder

On November 24, Israeli-Moldovan citizen Zvi Kogan was murdered. Three Uzbek citizens suspected of the crime have been detained. UAE authorities have disclosed the identities of the suspects.
In light of this, Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov met with Israeli Ambassador to Uzbekistan Gideon Lustig.
During the meeting, the minister expressed his deepest condolences to Israel's ambassador in Uzbekistan over the tragic death of Zvi Kogan.
"The people of Uzbekistan have always maintained friendly relations with representatives of all religions and ethnicities. We have never tolerated nationalism in any form and will not tolerate it in the future," Bakhtiyor Saidov stated.
The discussion also emphasized that terrorism and extremism know no borders or nationalities. The Uzbek government is actively cooperating with UAE and Israeli authorities in the ongoing investigation.
