Uzbek Travel to Turkey Increases by 19.7%

In the first seven months of 2024, 123,000 Uzbek citizens traveled to Turkey for tourism, marking a 19.7% increase compared to the same period last year. This reflects the growing trend of Uzbeks choosing Turkey as a top travel destination.
According to the Statistics Agency, the majority of Uzbek tourists—over 95,000—went to Turkey for leisure. Another 23,000 traveled to visit relatives, while around 1,700 sought medical treatment.
Additionally, 1,240 Uzbeks traveled to Turkey for education, and more than 1,000 did so for business purposes. These numbers highlight the increasing interest in Turkey, especially for vacations and family visits.
The upward trend indicates that Turkey remains a popular destination for Uzbeks across various travel purposes, with leisure and family reunions leading the list.
