On May 18, the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the European Union was celebrated. This was reported by the First Assistant to the President of Uzbekistan, Saida Mirziyoyeva, in her Telegram channel.
"It is important to note that the EU provides significant support to large-scale reforms and creative processes in Uzbekistan aimed at improving the welfare of the country's population," she said.
Indeed, the ties between Uzbekistan and the EU are gaining momentum and scope in various fields with each passing year.
"In the near future, we plan to create another platform for cooperation. The first official EU-Central Asia summit will be held in Samarkand, opening a new chapter in our friendly relations," added Saida Mirziyoyeva.
