The main focus of the forum was the prospects of cooperation between Central Asia, the South Caucasus, and Europe. Mirziyoyev stressed that these regions have unique potential to develop new transport, energy, and logistics corridors, turning them into a strategic hub between East and West.

The president highlighted Azerbaijan’s role as a “bridge” linking Central Asia with Europe and praised President Ilham Aliyev’s efforts in strengthening interregional cooperation.

He also recalled the signing of the Treaty on Allied Relations between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, as well as the historic decision to establish a strategic partnership adopted at the “Central Asia – European Union” summit held in Tashkent.

“Today Uzbekistan offers the international community an invaluable resource – stability, trust, and development,” Mirziyoyev said, reaffirming the country’s commitment to reforms and to building a “New Uzbekistan” as a democratic and social state.

Concluding his speech, the president expressed confidence that the Tashkent forum would serve as a starting point for deeper cooperation and the launch of new joint projects beneficial to all parties.
