Uzbekistan establishes diplomatic relations with Liechtenstein

The Principality of Liechtenstein has become the 146th country with which Uzbekistan has established diplomatic relations. This is reported by Dunyo news agency.

A joint communiqué on the establishment of diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and Liechtenstein was signed in New York on 5 March.

The document was signed on behalf of the two governments by Ulugbek Lapasov, Permanent Representative of Uzbekistan to the United Nations, and Christian Wenaweser, Permanent Representative of the Principality of Liechtenstein to the United Nations.

The signing of the document has become an important step to boost Uzbekistan's interaction with European countries.

It should be recalled that on 18 January 2024 in Kampala (Uganda), the Joint Communiqué on the establishment of diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and the Republic of Uganda, which became the 145th country - international partner of Uzbekistan, was signed.
