Uzbekistan increases number of licences for Paris 2024 Olympics

The number of licences for the Uzbekistan delegation to the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics has increased by 5. This was reported by the press service of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan.
Canoeist Nilufar Zokirova, as well as kayakers Yekaterina Shubina and Shakhriyor Makhkamov, successfully participated in the continental qualifying tournament in April in Japan and earned the opportunity to participate in additional events.
It is reported that the national rowers can compete in the following new events at the Paris 2024 Olympics:
K1 500 metres: Nilufar Zokirova
C1 200 metres: Ekaterina Shubina
C2 500 metres: N. Zokirova / E. Shubina
K2 500 metres: N. Zokirova / E. Shubina
C1 1000 metres: Shakhriyor Makhkamov
Thus, the number of licences won by Uzbek kayakers and canoeists has reached 8.
The 2024 Olympics will be held in Paris, France, from July 26 to August 11.
It is reported that the national rowers can compete in the following new events at the Paris 2024 Olympics:
