Uzbekistan Prepares Major Deals with AD Ports Group

Uzbekistan is bringing in one of the world's leading operators to modernize its transit networks. Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade Laziz Kudratov held strategic talks with the UAE-based giant AD Ports Group. The parties are drafting a major package of agreements, the signing of which at the IV Tashkent International Investment Forum is set to elevate the republic's logistics infrastructure to a global standard.

On May 19, the Head of MIIT Uzbekistan, Laziz Kudratov, met with a delegation from AD Ports Group (UAE) to discuss joint ventures in the transport and logistics sectors. The talks focused on developing free economic zones, port and warehouse infrastructure, and implementing the UAE’s advanced asset management expertise. Confirming their commitment to fast-track these initiatives, the sides agreed to sign key bilateral documents at the upcoming IV Tashkent International Investment Forum. AD Ports Group is a top-tier global conglomerate managing major commercial ports and SEZs. At the close of 2025, the holding reported a net profit of $564 million, with its total assets under management reaching $18.9 billion.
