On March 16, Uzbekistan dispatched a humanitarian shipment to Iran, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The cargo was transported Turkmenistan and has already been handed over to Iranian officials.

The aid package includes essential food items such as flour, rice, sugar, pasta, sunflower oil, and canned goods, along with medicines and medical supplies.

The handover ceremony was attended by Iranian officials and diplomats. The cargo was delivered by Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Turkmenistan, Ravshanbek Alimov.
