Uzbekistan showcases electrical industry potential at Malaysia business forum

A delegation from Uzbekistan, led by Foreign Affairs Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov, participated in the Uzbek-Malaysian Business Forum held in Kuala Lumpur on February 28. The event aimed to foster collaboration and investment opportunities between the two nations.

Mirziyod Yunusov, Chairman of the Uzeltechsanoat Association, highlighted Uzbekistan's recent achievements in the electrical sector, including growth indicators and efforts to attract international brands and investments.

Over 100 members of both countries' business communities actively engaged in negotiations, with Yunusov and department head F. Abdualimov holding negotiations with the heads of large Malaysian companies on the implementation of promising projects in the electrical industry, attracting investors to Uzbekistan and increasing export contracts.

Delighted to see the heads of leading companies and financial institutions of Malaysia – our friends who have expressed a keen desire to cooperate with Uzbekistan. We are confident that today’s business forum will enable us to identify the main directions of our further mutual cooperation," Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov said on his social media page.

The event served as a platform to outline future cooperation strategies between Uzbekistan and Malaysia, showcasing the potential of Uzbekistan's electrical industry on an international stage.
